What is Included with my Healing?

“Whatever you believe about yourself on the inside is what you will manifest for yourself on the outside.”

-Mahatma Gandhi

“As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul…”

-Hermes Trismegistus

1. Consultation

Most people I encounter while doing this work have never had a shamanic healing, let alone heard of one. So they typically have questions about what to expect. This typically is a conversation either on the phone or via text, whatever you prefer. It is important to me that you feel comfortable and informed before we start.

2. Diagnostic Journey

After we’ve agreed upon the work you’d like me to do during the consultation, I take a diagnostic journey to find out what I need to do for your healing. I use a drum to help me enter a meditative state. While in this state I journey to the spirit realms to seek guidance for your healing. I find teachers who give me specific instructions for what to do during your healing. They often give me spirit medicine to use on your energetic body in the spirit realm. After the journey is done, I come back to ordinary reality. If you have questions about what was recommended by spirit, this is the time to ask. You are welcome to agree to or deny any of the directions I receive from spirit. Typically clients are just excited for the healing to start and want me to do all the things the guides have recommended.

3. The Healing

The healing is the main part of this work. This is where I carry out work on your energy body in the spirit realm. I work with my guides to see what is wounded in your energy body and fix it. Everything shows up for me in metaphor and symbolism. So I may see a hole in a part of your energy body where you have been feeling empty, or I may see a large rock on a part of your body that has been feeling heavy. The variety of issues is as endless as the variety of people and experiences there are. This is a big part of the work that I love, because I’m always surprised by something new. I love finding ways to creatively solve the problems that come up during sessions to bring about the most healing for my clients. It is absolutely fascinating work.

4. Audio Recording

After your healing is complete, I stop drumming and return to ordinary reality and out of my meditative state. I review the notes I took during your healing and then create an audio recording where I explain what happened during your healing. Typically this includes a description of what wounds I saw in your energy body, and what I did to heal them. I also report any soul pieces that I brought back to you, and any information they gave me about when and why they left. I also tell you about any power animals that I brought back for you. Typically there are between 1 – 4 soul pieces that come back, and 1 power animal. Occasionally there are more or less than these numbers but that is rare. It just depends on the person. *the reason I make an audio recording is that there is typically so much that has happened, it is difficult to “get” everything the first time hearing it. Most people listen to it several times afterwards and get something new out of it each time!

5. Optional follow up

After a healing, sometimes questions come up for clients. Sometimes clients don’t have questions come up. Both are normal and ok. If you have questions afterwards, just reach out and ask. I’ll answer them the best that I can.
